Dimitra Schoinohoriti

GOCAR Publisher | NEMO Managing Partner

Dimitra, with a 10 year long experience as an Executive in car importers companies of major automotive brands, is driven by her passion for technology, a thirst for knowledge and her love for change. From a wealth of important achievements, the Athens 2004 Olympic Games is her pick as a career highlight.

 

Being the Communications Director of Hyundai Hellas S.A. at that time, she was in charge of a complex and demanding schedule of events that were the heart and soul of Hyundai's Olympic Games Sponsorship Program. Another career milestone was Hyundai's rising at the 1st Place in Car Sales for the Greek Market in 2005. With her insight on the industry's workings, she diagnosed early on the pressing needs of the Greek Automotive Market for dedicated digital solutions on both ends of the communication spectrum - for both, Media and Marketing services. As a result, in 2010 she founded GOCAR and in 2012 she became a Managing Partner of NEMO. Dimitra studied Media and Cinema in Australia and holds a Master's Degree in Marketing. Her focus is always on quality, in her career and in life, and she will never compromise with anything less than the best result.

Michalis Georgiadis

Automotive Business Hub | Director

Michalis had a 4-year experience in Sales roles before entering the stage in journalism and the automotive press in 2001. Soon afterwards he found himself climbing the corporate ladder, first as an Editor in Chief and then as Content Director for the automotive magazines of Mototech S.A.

 

In 2015 he became the CEO of DRIVE Publications Group. The exciting prospect of discovering unexplored digital paths and his desire to make the most out of his knowledge and love of cars in a creative and contemporary way, led him in 2020 to the Automotive Business Hub and to NEMO and GOCAR. Whether a unique technological accomplishment, a means of transport, a mass market product or just a fun vehicle, no matter what is your perspective on a car, Michalis has been there before and has studied and reported on each aspect. He has covered more than 60 exclusive video presentation of different supercars. He voluntarily participates in activities that promote the ideas of Safe Driving and Road Safety and he is proud to be giving seminars to small children and school students on these subjects, in cooperation with the Hellenic Motor Museum. He is one of the ninety four World Car Awards journalists who vote annualy for the World Car of the Year (WCOTY) - the only one from Greece.

Kostas Dermenoudis

Tech & Innovation Manager

As far back as he can remember, Kostas was always a restless spirit, constantly trying to discover how every thing works. So, it was no surprise that from the moment he got into the Web, he was hooked. It was an oasis for his thirsty for answers mind.

 

Ask, search, find, try, and succeed: This is his "modus operandi", both in his professional and personal life. Since 2010 he has been working in the digital ecosystem and has encountered and managed a multitude of new challenges. As a result, his attitude towards the new and the unknown is to challenge it and learn from it. Working in and with Analytics, Digital Projects, Digital Ads, CMS, Troubleshooting, makes up his list of professional duties. Although he is a fan of two-wheel vehicles (proud owner of a bicycle and a motorbike), when he entered the digital space of the automotive industry he was pleased to roam in new roads and discover previously unexplored landscapes.

Achileas Anastasopoulos

Social Media Manager

A free spirit and a true reactionary, Achilleas got a Master's Degree in Graphic Arts and Design, only to give it all up to become an automotive journalist. Besides his roles in Automotive Media, he explored other topics and different mediums, with a notable highlight, working for the morning news show of the Greek State TV Network.

 

Being restless and multi-talented, he has also been engaged with car parts and cars sales. He has always been eager to explore the trends that shape the automotive lifestyle and as a result he has been actively engaged with Social Media and the automotive digital ecosystem in general, for more than 15 years. Eventually, this is what drove him to join the team of the Automotive Business Hub. Finally, all he really wants is to walk through life with a sense of humor, although he usually ends up laughing by himself. But that's more than enough for him...

Alexis Galanopoulos

Senior Content & Social Media Manager

After acquiring a BSc in Mathematics, Alex worked as a high school teacher, but his love for cars made him opt for a job at DRIVE magazine. Fully committed to the automotive field, he became road-test editor and eventually editor-in-chief of the publication.

 

During his 14 years in the industry, he has been managing editor at the Greek edition of AUTOCAR magazine and at several special editions on automotive technology, green mobility etc. He has also done numerous video presentations, produced advertising material, and created digital content. With his methodical approach, analytical thinking and unrivaled attention to detail, Alex can translate complex technology into simple words, making it easy for everyone to comprehend. NEMO’s Automotive Business Hub introduced him to new, more exciting ways of interacting with the automotive audience, while overseeing the production of specialized, high quality editorial and advertorial content for all available platforms.

Stelios Pappas

Junior Content Creator

Stelios knew early on what he wanted to achieve and he chased it hard. He studied Physical Education and Sport Science in France and had already 5 years of experince as a fitness coach, when he decided to perform a u-turn in his carreer and chase his childhood dream: to be part of the Automotive world!

 

He was introduced to the automotive press as a freelance editor, gaining experience and knowledge. He then joined the editorial team of GOCAR, looking for new challenges as he went. Being part of the Automotive Business Hub, he daily discovers new means of expressing his creative passion for cars.

Jane Sambanikou

Video Producer / Content Strategist

Jane comes with a vibrant personality and boisterous attitude. Her inexorable curiosity and her innate disposition to look on the humorous side of things were crucial factors in her decision to devote herself to journalism. Her work experience across Media platforms (press, TV, radio, and web) amounts to more than 30 years.

 

She's in love with driving and enjoyed success in motorsports. Her prizes stand as solid proof of that. It follows that her interests revolve around cars, motorbikes, and travelling, but also music. Through the years she has collaborated with Creative Departments of major Show Business and Advertising agencies, with Event Organizers and has participated in educational activities. She holds degrees in European Cultural Studies and in Adult Education and lately she is involved in Road Safety Education of children and adults. As a GOCAR team member and a person that likes endeavors and people that are ahead of their time (as she considers herself to be one of them), she had been eyeing up at the Automotive Business Hub for some time. Let's just say, it was bound to happen...
